Hopefully Nintendo announces more upcomming games before the year is out.

^yes Japanese gamers dont have anything left from nintendo after october... that is really strange, not 1 single game except wii sports: resort that will launch in sprimng 09.

nintendo never did that before, something is going on with their announcements. I believe they are scared of getting their ideas stolen, but that makes no sense. anyone knows what japanese gamers can look forwards after october ? from nintendo and 3 partys i mean.

Wow, I didn't realize Nntendo had nothing left for Japan after Wii Music and Animal Crossing. That's...surprising.

For what it's worth, Malstrom thinks the rest of the lineup was delayed to accomodate Wii Motion Plus. Personally I don't buy it, but I suppose it can make some sense if you want it to. No, my guess is they just expended everything they had, and consequently have an inconvenient hole where they thought they'd have more, either because something got delayed, or because they're really sticking to their "one month before release" unveiling schedule.

Well confirmed all there really is is little king story,dead rising,animal crossing, sonic unleased, and tomb raider. I expect alot of release dates for Japanese games at TGS, and quite a few this year. According to Wikipedia, Fragile, Oboro Muramasa, Rune Factory Fronteir,and Kirby Wii(doubt it) area all confirmed for 2008 in Japan. There are quite a few games being released This month, next month, and october though, so I think they will be satisfied.

See alot of people are mad due to the lack of core games shown at e3 and it seems that people think that the wii is just a casual system. While it does have a long list of casual games, the point is not to regurgatate what core games are already on the system, but to shed light as to what core games are coming out for the system. I'm sure that everyone knows of SMG, SSBB,LOZ:TP, Red Steel (I liked it:P) , MOH:2,Zack and Wiki, Metroid Prime:3, Okami, RE:4,Manhunt 2, Batallion Wars 2,No More Heroes, RE:Umbrella Chronicles, Barouqe, Endless Ocean, ect

@sc94597: hmmm but japanese wii owners love nintendo games, I think nintendo has some surprise for japanese gamers this year. Remember cammie and reggie said no more surprises this year, well they meant for america. I know they have to announce at least 2 more games before animal crossing or wii music release, and that means before the end of the year.

hopefully something big like ssbb this year, next year in january we may get pikmin or kirby. if nintendo doesnt announce anything i may start to suspect about they not caring anymore or maybe they are having very tough difficulties in developing for wii. or lastly they want to release very few games as a new policy, so that their old games sell well. MKWii, wii fit, brawl, animal crossing and wii music.

Poor japanese if they have to wait until june 09 to play the next nintendo game that ironically is casual. That would be awful and could lose a lot of potential buyers.

@Gorgory If they want to buy Nintendo games the ds is an option.
