Ahhh screw it.  you'll just refute point 1 with "LOL 102 year plann!1!  PS3 sale more than Wii LTD by 2110!" and throw a bunch of your trademark smileys in.

Let's all be honest with ourselves, after the MASSIVEMEGAFAILURE that was the Cube, did any dev expect Nintendo to dominate this hard this gen?


Now they are. And because of that, more heavy hitter mega hits will come to the Wii. Those who are pessimistic about it, must've never like the Wii, or Nintendo for that matter, to begin with.

It's not like they're going to say it.

"Yeah, we have this barely started multi million dollar project of a new IP or we can make put that money towards SOCOM, God of War 3, and getting GT5 out the door."

Honestly, it's a really good defensive strategy.  Nintendo did it during GC years and spent the time innovating for the next gen, EA did it but now is getting aggressive again, Activisions doing it, and now Sony's doing it.

No dev/analyst/reporter expected it.  Except for Gamestop.  They had a decent article predicting Wii to sell well and how "games should be fun".  I think it was posted on April 2 or somewhere around there.

When there are more games like Mario and Sonic than God of War, let me know. I think pointless button-mashers are still a huge genre for a huge demographic.

The Ps3 broke the trend of each Ps console selling more than the last. You then said, the same could be said for Nintendo. The only Nintendo system to sell more than the last was the Wii.

I don't care who wins or loses. All I care about is playing the games I want. Only PS360 can satisfy my gaming needs with AAA titles such as Gears of War, Halo 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Call of Duty 4 and a whole lot more. Experiencing HD graphics with amazing textures and details. Playing online with my friends, voice chatting, in game messaging, choosing my own user name, downloading movies and demos. The Wii is still struggling in that department. The Wii has no games that interest me. The new controller does nothing for me. It ruins lots of games for me.

I am not sad at all. Nintendo revolutionized gaming and is releasing games that both appeal to casual and hardcore gamers, balancing it out. Third parties will also start releasing more core titles, you just have to give them some time.
