The amount of space available for game data on a 360 disc is only 7.3GB, so it's not that far off. I wonder how long it took to install.

No you are wrong!!!
More people commenting on stuff they don't know, when will it end?
You are simply saying 7.3GB because that is the size of an Xbox 360 Split-Vid ISO...lol
The amount of space available for game data is actually about 6.8 GB
The old way of making an ISO for the 360 was 7.05GB - This is including the video partition which is *about* 250MB.
7.05GB + 250MB = 7.3GB (These ISOs are spli-vid, meaning they have a video partition on each layer - like a real Xbox 360 disc).
So actual game data available is 7.05GB - 250MB (The old 360 ISO size, has 1 video partition)...
= 6.8GB....
Its actually less than this due to the random padding before the filesystem.
So basically, no 360 game install (1 disc games) will be larger than 6.8GB Which is fantastic news :)
However most games are around the 4-5GB mark.....even better.
i prefer the blades better, but its good they are adding the hdd install. other than that, not much difference?! pack it in microsoft, you aint beating sony or nintendo!
