You are simply saying 7.3GB because that is the size of an Xbox 360 Split-Vid ISO...lol

 

The amount of space available for game data is actually about 6.8 GB

The old way of making an ISO for the 360 was 7.05GB - This is including the video partition which is *about* 250MB.

7.05GB + 250MB = 7.3GB (These ISOs are spli-vid, meaning they have a video partition on each layer - like a real Xbox 360 disc).

So actual game data available is 7.05GB - 250MB (The old 360 ISO size, has 1 video partition)...

 

= 6.8GB....

 

Its actually less than this due to the random padding before the filesystem.
