This is an excellent strategy. Most Wii games are a lower price and the ones that are higher drop much faster... Microsoft is just taking a short-cut to encourage more sales and say that they are serious to casual gamers.
Price Cut + Lower Casual Game Prices = More Sales

Tell that to the $50 price tag on Disgaea 3 which features a few hundred hours of gameplay.
I have no doubts Banjo will end up selling 2 million if it gets AAA reviews and a price point of 40 bucks. You can't get a better deal than that on day 1.

Haha.. some immature kiddies working at Gamestop make fun of you for buying it? Some kid did that to me one time when I went to buy something. He laughed at the box when I brought it up.
