Here's my philosophy:

The world will be a better place when more people realize that bars really aren't that great.

But why? I mean... I like to go to the movies, going to the mall, going to the park (I just went to the park a few hours ago)... but I also like to go to the bar.

Just because you don't like to go, it doesn't mean that bars are not great.

I'm just of the belief that there are better ways to spend your time, like the ones you listed above.

A bar is the lowest on my "fun places to go" list, thats for sure.

As in go buy us some coffee.

I've never really been to a bar yet so I won't judge one till I go in one, but where I live, the nearest bar is about an hour and a half away so the gas isn't worth it, plus the people I chill with don't go either.

I have a few cousins that go though and the ones they go to are more artful and casual, not raunchy like some of the other ones described. They play live (good) music, there's a nice dining area to hang out, and bar for quality drinks. Not all bars are the stereotypical drunkards hangout that many people profess they are.
