Don't we already know that Wii Third-Party sales are in good shape?

The only ones who say otherwise are the delusional ones.

I Am Alive has been announced for Wii, Xbox 360, PC and PS3 by Ubisoft at E3 2008 as an all-new IP from the company.

As you wish, dude. I think we're done here. But please, read the links I provided.

I went to the page of ubisoft and tehres nothing announced there. I am alive doesnt have platforms yet... those are faulty sorces. Prince of persia doesnt exist, was never shown or announced. even red steel is unnoficial until announced.

Um no they aren't. I Am Alive for the Wii was announced 2 days after the PS360 games were at E3. And I beleive the Prince of Persia game was announced a week or two after ubidays.

Yeah, thats fair. I would just like to mention though that developement costs on the PS360 are AT LEAST 3 times more than the that on the Wii, and depending on the budget of the game the difference increases.

Alright, I'll eat my own words and concede that I'm NOT done here. (Sorry, but it's late and I'm feeling cranky). The I Am Alive announcement is everywhere by now, not just at the one link I provided (I just didn't think it necessary to bombard you with more). However, every Wii site I've visited has it listed as an official game, without exception. It's real, dude.

There's even more proof about the others. Prince of Persia on Wii was officially announced, as I said. Granted, it's NOT the same game as the HD versions, and is being described by an Ubisoft executive as a complimentary spinoff game, but it exists.

As for Red Steel 2, I concede it has not been officially announced. But when the game's director publically gives an interview about how Red Steel 2 is coming along I take that as confirmation myself.

Question: Where does that chart come from? Did Nintendo just casually fax this over to Kotaku? This seems like the kind of thing that Nintendo would call for a small media gathering to talk about it. Just to clarify, I'm not accusing it of being fake, I'm just curious.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but if the 360 and the Wii were selling roughly the same amount of third party software their first 19 months, doesn't that actually show the strength of the 360's software superiority since there were millions less 360s in the first 19 months than Wiis?
