well at least we know its confirmed

pikmin is proly one of my favorite nintendo franchises maybe even of all time

 yes i felt the same way after i played pikmin 2 it truly was that GOOD!

yes, they fixed a whole ton of stuff with pikmin 2. harder enemies, cooler enemies (like those bomb holding balloon guys) new colors of pikmin, longer story, challenges, better cut scenes (even if there were only like 6) 2 player battle, two player co-op in the challenges, some better pathfinding so your pikmin would get lost less often. i think the only bad with with pikmin 2 was they took away the yellow pikmins ability to hold bomb-rocks.

i suggest you play the first pikmin before the second, otherwise you'll not want to play the first one, and think it's crap.

I hope they do the same thing with the third.

would you buy pikmin 2 or 1 if they recreated it on the wii

Definately recommend both, and I recommend playing 1 before playing 2.

If you play P1 first, you'll appreciate the changes in P2.

If you play P2 first, you'll get frustrated by what's missing in P1.
