Hmm this suggests just between Gamestop and EB. Obviously this game has a lot behind it. Surprising.  Unless MS is providing preorders from retailers and talking about how they have limited and increased over time.  Who knows.  But looks like this will be pretty big.  Good decision though to release post Madden week.

That seems way high to me. I would have guessed 200-350k first week WW. I'm going to take this one with a rather large grain of salt.

I dont see how, theres not much promotion going into the game it seems like, no television spots yet, just magazine and promo on the 360 dashboard.

I see it hitting maybe 400k first week (at best)... not "1 million pre orders"...

I hope it is is good game and it does well, but that does seem a bit high. That would be over 75% of the people who downloaded the demo?

Perhaps retailer pre-orders.
