This is why the PS3 is going down in sales each week. I think the main reason why this weeks nubmers are higher then last is due to the release of the Greatest Hits collection. I'm expecting PS3 to be at 32k- for US, 60k- for the EU, and 8k- for Japan for the Aug 9th numbers.

I wouldn't call 360 "great" but atleast this indicates that next week 360 beats ps3 in japan...with Tales release and all.

maybe in the other 2 regions but the sales in japan have been pretty much the same last months...

but i'm not gonna disagree with you or who knows what happens

If it weren't for it's catalogue of great JRPG's+more to come it wouldn't sell in Japan at all... and I would have no reason to buy it either.
