Forums - Nintendo - New Dead Rising Wii Screens, this time with more WAGGLE!

Looks like rifle aiming still relies on the thumbstick. That really annoyed me in RE4.

I agree. Why would they do that? It just doesn't make any sense. They should only use the thumbstick for zooming in and out (or even C and Z buttons). Aiming with the thumbstick is ridiculous.

Just kiss the tip.

The more I've seen the screenshots the more Im convinced this game will becoming a Resident Evil 4 clone

How is that a bad thing? This is like saying "This girl I'm dating doesn't want a commitment, just tons of sex."

Dead Rising was a great little game and all, but it was definitely not RE4. In RE4, each zombie was a serious threat which needed to be handled with extreme prejudice. In Dead Rising, you could mow through zombies without thinking twice about it.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks

Such loving use the term "Waggle", not the slightest hint of condisention in the slightest, lol.

Consider yourself reported.

This post isn't on topic in the slightest, and as usual, you're just stirring the pot for no good reason.

The waggle is talking about how we now have screens of the waggle and what it does.  You waggle the controler to fight the zombies off/use weapons.  How esle shoudl I explain it?

Wave the controller, shake the controller. Waggle is a term used primarily to belittle the Wii and you know it, lol. The emphasis you put on it in the title is more than telling too. Lol. Sigh... Oh and like I haven't reported you how many times for your gender insults. Oh DMeisterJ, you and your pot stirring. I also find it funny that you insist the term "Waggle" is pertinent to this topic yet my discussion of it is off topic. I seriously can't tell whether you're comming or going.

In the end this game looks befuddling, its from Capcom so I don't know if we can really trust their quality on the Wii. Even then I can't imagine what ever prompted them to port this game of all games just out of the blue. If only they could put the resources into developing a serious original lp for the Wii that would be fantastic.

I want to tell myself this is just them warming up for even greater things to come, but I doubt it. Still, one can dream can't they.

Hmmm.. I don't think the waggle in this picture should be from left to right....

My thoughts Exactly. XD

Feel free anyone to change my last word of the title into Shaking and Waving. Or whatever floats your boat so that the whiner(s) can go back on topic to the game at hand.
