And like Gebx said above, Mexico rocks, those 600k could be for any system, but the attention than microsoft have here its why its the best console sold. Just looking at the price, the core is betwen 300 - 330 dollars, the wii its at 450 and the ps3 at 800.

The report those figures are from doesn't include grey imports. There's little point in factoring in grey imports anyway, as these are already tracked as US sales.

No to your other reply first of all... MS does not include replacements.

All three companies give figures for units SHIPPED, which means units that Nintendo/Sony/MS have sold to retailers (not sold to gamers)

The only confusion is that Sony have only recently started using that definition.... before April 2007 Sony used the word "shipped" but it actually referred to units they had produced.


@BKK2. Thanks.... I thought it might be AC Nielsen because I remember that being a source of confusion a few months ago... What's the latest GfK figure for Wii?

I haven't seen any Spanish Wii figures for a long time. I guess we'll hear from Nintendo when they break 1m, but I have no idea how long that will take.

Ok, that was my only doubt, if those number include the imports. I have one question, who is IDG???
