Im definitley getting Halo 3 when it comes out but im definitely not getting the Legendary edition. I just dont see the value in it. Its not as interesting as the GTA 4 special edition which has a more better value at a better price. I might get either the regular or limited edition but in my opinion the legendary edition is not a good deal to me . If it was $80-90 then i definitley would get that version but 2007 the year for games and i would whrether buy Bioshock and halo 3 then just a special editon Halo 3 for $130. Is anyone seriously getting the legendary edition? Im not flaming at all Im really excited for Halo 3 espeaciialy Coop play through the story.

Although I'm not getting Halo 3 because I'm very let down by the beta. I would recommend to anyone to get the standard edition. It's ridiculous to pay extra (is it really an extra $50!?) for a piece of memorabilia and some extra video content that I guarantee will be available online within a week of it launching.

But isnt the helmet only for a cat size head. If it was shaped like a grown human head maybe i can see value but seriously WTF. Im more likely buying the limited edition of Halo 3. I would have got the legendary edition but the price and the fact i could get an extra game like Bioshock or GTA 4 put me down.

yea i was let down by it too, but it still should be a good game with new gameplay additions (buble shield, trip mines, etc.) that should keep it interesting.

 i also thinking paying an extra 70 dollars for a miniature helmet and some extra content is kinda ridiculous. 

H3 Legendary = smart for MS, dumb for purchasers. Extra content should always be $10 like everything else.

Again, World In Conflict's PC/360 LE is the best ever (and Oblivion CE for 360 is #2). WIC gives you all the extra content, and a piece of the freaking actual Iron Curtain. I mean really, plastic helmet
One is $10, other is $50. Unless H3 Legendary had like....extra maps or something in-game, theres no need for it, not with a CE already available.

Since I don't care about extra crap and just want to play the game, I'll say no.

The only special edition box I bought was Bully and that's because two stores were out of the regular version.

In another thread you mentioned you only have a PS3, so did you actually play the demo?

I will be getting it. And camping all night for it, even though I have a preorder. Me and my friends are going to play nerd that night
