Wow, you're all kinda pessimistic.
The Conduit will sell well, and show developers that there is a market for quality, non casual games. So in the long run it may do more for Wii sales than something like animal crossing

CoD5 may sell around 300k since its also been release on PC, and both HD consoles with better visuals and online. As for Conduit I think it may struggle to do 150k since there is almost no advertising and maybe people don't even know it existed.

I personally think Conduit will hit over 1 million.
It's CoD 5 Wii that I'm not putting too much hopes on. I can't help but think it will just be seen as another lower tier Wii version of a game you'd want more on other systems( and really, World War II again!?)
I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.
Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.
Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!
Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I hope you're wrong. Nintendo is not good at marketing core games, they did a poor job with Metroid as well as Fatal Frame in Japan.
I hope EA got it, so there will be no need for friend codes either ^^
@WessleWoggle He was talking about Wii games that run at 30fps allow for about equal amount of polygons and textures. Not that wii games don't run at 60 fps. Just 30fps uses considerably less power and that power could be used in graphic capabilities.

How do you know? I haven't seen any of the online details so far and other Wii games, MoHHeroes 2, has 32 player online. Only big difference was voip to other fps online games, with the exception of better controls for Wii.

Voice chat makes a huge difference when playing FPS titles because you need to communicate with the other people on your team to get the best out of it. Perhaps "seriously gimped" was an exaggeration on my part, but the Wii's online system is worse in general than the 360's or PS3's anyway so that will affect online functionality of every game. The local multiplayer is cut down on the Wii version also.
i think "The Conduit" will sell more since it's exclusive - something like MP3 - where C0D5 will sell close to 1m...
"The Conduit" has online as well, and there are some chances for good online - like "Medal of Honor Heroes 2" or smth

How so? I've been playing many more Local Multiplayer games on the Wii than PS360, and almost all of them I enjoyed more. I don't see how it is gimped.
the conduit is not going to sell that well never mind become a system seller
