I believe they have it currently steady at 16 players

Both won't sell massive amounts. The Wii is the ideal proper FPS console. The problem is that FPS always foucsed on gfx. For the Wii to really see big sales in FPS games the Wii needs to get the attention of the FPS crowd. That's not going to happen with Vanilla shooters like Conduit and COD. The FPS needs to be really something special and something that only the Wii can do in regards to controll. Till then the Wii won't get serious FPS attention.

I just think the conduits gonna flop for some reason. I have a bad feeling about the game.
Not thats it actually gonna play terrible but sales wise I think its not gonna do too good.

Call of duty 3 didn't sell well on the wii so for COD5 I expect low sales mainly because people that have wii60 or ps3wii will probably get it for the other console than the wii. In the case of the conduit, I expect the conduit sales to be like zack and wiki's sales althought is to early to tell.Don't get me wrong that's just my point of view on how I expect things to go.

Don't make the mistake of assuming Conduit will sell a lot just because there's Internet hype for it.

We all remember the hype for Zack & Wiki, and even though this game ended up selling well, it didn't sell as much as the hype suggested.

That said, it could sell really well if it's decisively better than the other shooters on the Wii. Remember that we don't know much about the gameplay though. The controls seem good judging from the latest videos, but we're still guessing. We don't even know what publisher will carry the game, or how well it can get advertised.

COD5 could sell 2-4 million if it is fully-featured like the developers say.

I think COD:WaW will do very well on Wii. At least a million between Americas and Europe is about right it seems. It has a good chance of doing better with the Call of Duty namesake and assuming the game will actually be good.

I can't really say how The Conduit will do until I see how COD performs. If COD does really well, I think the Conduit might do just as good or better. That off the strength of it being exclusive, hyped, and (hopefully) being really good. We'll see though.

Who knows, all I know is no matter what Conduit does, all the haters will insist it was a flop.

If COD5 on the Wii doesn't outsell its competitor's versions the haters will say they just shouldn't have bothered with it. If COD5 does outsell its competitor's versions, haters will cry the Wii is killing gaming.

How can it sell a system that's already supply constrained.

CoD5 looks good but the forum goers seem to dislike WW2 games, not sure what the general consensus is, but most people who don't own a CoD seem to be still looking at 4. They want Modern War.

Conduit depends on the marketing I'd assume.,

COD3 (a mediocre rushed game without multiplayer) sold 0.37 million in America alone.

Just some data for people to chew on. 1 million should be easy for COD5 if it delivers.

I expect COD5 to sell 1 million.

The Conduit will at least sell 1 million and maybe 2, because I think the game will be a lot bigger than red steel.
