Don't forget, saying Wwwiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!! when you are drunk is so much fun compare to saying Xbbbboooox360!! or Ppplaaayyystaaation3!!!
And you sometimes feel like Wwiiiiiiii! when you take that last shot of booze and then stand up making the blood go to your head
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing
(mostly)
And shepherds we shall be,
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

The X makes everything X-X-XTREME!!
The Wii became a household name, almost detached from the nintendo brand even. It proves it's succes but it could also prove a problem. When the next console comes out, will the current buyers see it as the succesor of the wii, or a whole new product as "detached" from Nintendo as it currently is?

I guess the only way people will see the M!! as a successor would be that the names sound alike or rhyme.
Generation 8 Predictions so far.....(as of 9/2013)
Console that will sell most: Nintendo Wii U
Who will sell more consoles between Microsoft/SONY: SONY
I didn't like it at first because the Revolution sounded so much cooler.
But after a while, I realized that the word "Wii" is much quicker and easier to say than Xbox360 and Playstation 3. If I tried to abbreviate them, unknowledgeable people would assume I'm talking about degrees and the nearest train station. But if you just say Wii, they get it quick. And if they didn't hear it the first time, I can repeat it a couple times more without getting as frustrated. It's pretty cool.

The name was genius.. it sticks in your mind.. it seems odd to say this, but i think it wouldn't have gotten its initial boost if it were called revolution
I was so pissed when I heard the name. In my heas, I kept picturing some fat French guy saying "Ahhh Wii Wii!". I wanted to punch that guy in the belly. After a few months, that image quit haunting me, and I became a believer.
Hate it. I thought Nintendo's Revolution would have been such a crazier name.
