Good list, but I would have made another one. Intelligent Systems and Valve should be on there... :(

The list fails for being so western-oriented. Capcom, Square Enix and Konami are all much bigger then Bungie and Rockstar.

I'm afraid you are incorrect. Pro Evo 2008 outsold Fifa 2008 when you add up the sales of each game on the wii, PS3, PS2, 360 and PSP

Nintendo EAD
Blizzard
Sony Computer Entertainment
Square Enix
Microsoft Game Studios (after last year i think they deserve a spot)
Rockstar North
Ubisoft Montreal
Konami

Honorable Mentions: Harmonix, Infinity Wards, Value, 2K, and Bungie

SCE, SquareEnix, Capcom, etc. are publishers, not dev studios. Its not really fair to claim a publisher is in direct competition with a single game studio (e.g. Bungie, Blizzard). The Square Enix KH team, that's one studio. Team ICO, is one studio of SCE-Japan, Intelligent Systems is a studio of Nintendo, SCE Santa Monica, Zipper Interactive, and Naughty Dog are studios of SCEA, etc.

Blizzard is Blizzard North (Diablo), "regular" Blizzard (Warcraft, WoW), and the console division of Blizzard (dunno what they are working on since StarCraft: Ghost got canned), etc. Its kinda lame to compare anything beyond a single dev studio to another.

Apples to Oranges, when you put a publisher in the same list as a dev studio.

Not a single Square-Enix, Konami, and Capcom studio = Fail.

Throw out SCE from that list, I noticed I NEVER owned a SCE game even since I got my PS1 (lol, I was adding games in my PlayStation.com account, and yes, it was a poor list). And I'd put Valve above Bungie, IMO. But they both redesigned the FPS genre in their way... So I'm not sure anymore! @_@

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
