SCE, SquareEnix, Capcom, etc. are publishers, not dev studios. Its not really fair to claim a publisher is in direct competition with a single game studio (e.g. Bungie, Blizzard). The Square Enix KH team, that's one studio. Team ICO, is one studio of SCE-Japan, Intelligent Systems is a studio of Nintendo, SCE Santa Monica, Zipper Interactive, and Naughty Dog are studios of SCEA, etc.
Blizzard is Blizzard North (Diablo), "regular" Blizzard (Warcraft, WoW), and the console division of Blizzard (dunno what they are working on since StarCraft: Ghost got canned), etc. Its kinda lame to compare anything beyond a single dev studio to another.
Apples to Oranges, when you put a publisher in the same list as a dev studio.
