FPS shooters are better if multiplat with the 360 controller, so i'd say no.
@S.T.A.G.E
Thats your opinion, becuase i think the ps3 controller is much better than the xbox360. You dont even have a ps3.

You're right that it's my opinion. But at least I have played with a PS3 controller and analyzed it unlike fools who just talk and don't play. I have friends whom I go to their houses all the time and them with me as well. I'm buying a PS3 in October mainly because im using the PS3 for my fighters. PS3's controller setup is made to excell with fighter games.
The PS3 controller is weak with FPS, because the two analogs are near to each other. This disrupts hand eye coordination. Trust me...someone who was good on an FPS on the PS3 would be amazing on a 360 FPS. Why you might ask? Because of the fact that the Xbox 360's analog for control of the camera is overhead in the top left-hand corner. The control of on foot movement is with the bottom right hand corner, because of the fact that the 360 allows for X, Y axis control. Full functionality. It gives you ease of finger access. The PS2's controller was better as far as weight was concerned for shooters than the PS3. That controller is nearly weightless. Rumble feature as well is a plus on the 360.
No. I love BioShock, but some extra puzzles and a new difficulty mode are just not worth another $60 to me. Way down the line, when it's been deeply discounted or can be gotten really cheaply secondhand, then I guess I wouldn't rule it out.
Have to agree with S.T.A.G.E. about the 360 controller being better for shooters. I hate those L2/R2 bumpers on the DualShock 3.

It's listed for $60 at Amazon.
Guess that's to be expected because it's not just a straight port, and they are putting in the effort with some new content. But I really can't see anybody but the hardest of hardcore BioShock fans paying full price again for this new stuff.

If I offended you im sorry and I see your points. Ive played the xbox360 at my friends all the time and im really good with the controller but im still better with the ps3 controller. The sixaxis controllers were to light so I add lead type to the insides, but the new Daulshock controllers are much better and have better analogs.

I understand what you mean. Everyone has their taste. The 360 controller was just made for full playability on Racer,FPS, Flight games. The two back triggers are a plus as well.
