 That term gets thrown around too often. I made a thread about it. The idea of "fun" is very subjective. Enjoyment = fun. If mgs4 was simply just cutscenes and he enjoyed watching them, then he got his money's worth.

I was asked to play wii sports. I thought it was annoying not "fun". That makes me a nutcase I guess.

"Best game this gen" is an opinion post, so lets let the man have his opinion. Also, if someone thinks that GeoWars2 or BoomBlox, or whatever, is the best game this gen, perhaps it is for them.

At the end of the year there will be plenty of unhappy fans when the GOTY awards are given. Whoever takes the title, MGS4, GOW2, RE2, Fable 2, StarCraft2, ect. ect., there will be fans screaming foul.

/on subject hum no not that I'm a 360 owner... I just never liked the genre.... and hate cutscenes... I like when the story is developing in game... like in GoW ( don't get me wrong the story sucks in GoW but having the characters talking while you play is great and should be used more often instead of cutscenes)

same for COD 4 great game still don't like real military FPS....

 

all that is a question of taste....

I consider it as the best game so far this Gen. This gen isn't over yet.

However, while fighting crying wolf, I must say "the end" was a bit better. Just for the size of the playing field. And I was able to find crying wolf far too easily compared to the 90 Mins of fun I had with the end.
