The gold version hardly looks dirty but i think that's only available in a bundle with zelda for a limited time.....i think. The red might be your best bet in terms of not showing wear and tear.

Best RPGs alreayd mentioned here i suppose.

Lunar knights might be worth a mention.

There have been talk of a redesign for a while now and it's probably completed by now for all you know, but Nintendo probably won't release it until after mid next year, as sc94597 said. Iwata has stated in the past that they will wait for the DS lite sales to significantly drop before they think about releasing the newer version.

Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit,  No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance


My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

@Grey I don't think you are allowed to recommend flash carts on the site. Even if it is just for homebrew it could lead to piracy.

we're not allowed to link to rom sites or sites for piracy, but from my experience homebrew and homebrew support seems to be fairly okay.

As does its piracy side:

CycloDS Evolution’s inbuilt OS can run commercial ROM’s and homebrew software without the need for any patching on the users part.

There won't be a redesign in a long time, Nintendo said it themselves. Get ur DS now. I have a white one & it doesn't get dirty if that helps.

Pokemon Diamond & Pearl is a good rpg, & u can use wifi for it for battles.
Whatever u do, don't get Lunar: Dragon Song or Mega Man battle network, those are the only 3 RPGs i've played.
