Number 7 is Fatal Frame BTW, It's going to be interesting to see if Phantasy Star can keep its huge numbers the next week.

It think its possible as its very likely to become the new monster hunter in japan since they are kind of similar games. Was surprise that fatal frame is at 7th though.

Already in news section.

What? A 360 game in the top ten?

The world is ending.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

This is maddness!!! BTW SC4 is doing great on 360 even with the smallest install base in japan.

Checked the article on the front page. Says the 360 has sold 6k. That true?

That's the dumbest thing I've read all day.

It had a game in the Top 10 in Japan at the end of June. It's not a rare occurrence.

@Shadow: Y-koron reports Japanese sales every week and I think that there is no reason to doubt him, I'm not sure why prosugno said it's not true.

And there isn't anything unexpected with 6k - X360 is doing surprisingly well recently and SCIV was just released. But the next week will be the week for X360. Tales of Vesperia bundles alone should account for around 7k of sales. Outselling PS3 will be more a matter of 360 hardware avalibilty than demand (it was reported that Xbox have supply issues recently).

Rhythm games always sell well
