And according to this site, it's sold 210k in Europe/Japan (estimate) + America to come. ONE MILLION FIRST WEEK AMERICA CONFIRMED? The europe numbers are probably just wrong. Does anyone think there's more than 800k in retail sitting on shelves? The game has to have sold 1 million in the US just to cover 60% of the shipped copies according to this site.
I'm sure they're split pretty even. Similar to DMC 4 except the PS3 version won't be so far ahead in Japan with this one. 360 version might barely win overall.
2m shipped wouldn't surprise me - and it will be a long time (if ever) they manage to put out another shipment.
Guessing 500k Japan, 600k Europe, 700k US, 200k rest-of-world.
Just because a title ships a lot of units, doesn't mean it sold a lot.

Kotaku says sold, not shipped...
Yeah...
Wow...
How would Namco know how much sold?
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
2 million shipped sounds reasonable, expect it to see alot less though sold to consumers.
I probably still would have expected more sales, unless there are huge amounts sitting on shelves around the world
