It's called a Love Sac and it's damn amazing. I have the two person one and it's just an incredible gaming chair. Whenever it starts to get flat, you just punch and flip it a few times and immediately fluffs right up.

Excuse the incredibly messy apartment.

Let's see if I can identify everything in your picture...

I see a blue blanket, dark blue blanket, five pillows, a love sac, two couches, an envelope, a silver watch, a foot stool... Oh crap, I'm guessing that white box, in the brown box, is a cell phone box, with bubble wrap inside, a Nintendo 64 box (which is between a pillow, and the love sac), an xbox 360 controller, a laptop, and a black cat.

How did I do?

Not too bad. The N64 box is actually Undeclared: The FUll Series and the box is...I don't remember what was in the box (the picture is from about 4-5 months ago) but I know it wasn't a cell phone. :-p

 Man that thing is huge, and it looks so damn comfortable!

I'd just like to add to my rant about the DualShock and its predecessors/successors:

Sony, if you were going to blatantly copy the SNES gamepad, why couldn't you at least keep the button names the same? What a tremendous disservice to gamers, making them learn a retarded button naming scheme involving shapes, especially when you pick "X" as one of the shapes and place it opposite from where the "X" was on the SNES gamepad. To this day, when I'm teaching my friends how to play a PS2 game, I refer to the buttons by their SNES names, and they understand me perfectly. I've owned a PS2 for years now, and I couldn't tell you where "triangle" is without going and looking.

Wow -- I couldn't agree more. Phrased in almost the exact manner I phrased this to a friend 5 years ago.

I can't even name all the buttons now. Triangle, Circle, Square... and what's the other one? Ugh. Seriously, someone remind me.

It's as if they figured people wouldn't notice the blatant copy-catting if they just renamed the buttons. Honestly, Sony, it's fine! Copying can be a good thing, and the SNES pad was great!

But no, they had to change at least one thing about the controller -- one thing -- and they messed it up.

As far as shape/design go, however, I still really like the dual shock. It was my favorite controller last generation (even though I didn't own any consoles).

 I think you need to be reminded to read thoroughly!

Agree with Bodhesatva, there nothing wrong with liking one controller over another but Sony fanboys can't resists adding ther own flavor of condisending spitefulness to thread.

End of 2007 Predictions:

Wii =18m

360=14m

PS3=7m

DS=64m

PSP=30m

I really like the 360 and n64 controllers. Playstation and the original xbox controller I don't like.

in terms of comfort (and of the of the ones i have used of course)

GameCube - N64 - PS (any they are all the same) - Wii - MegaDrive - SNES - X-box (not sure whether it was big or small)

my fave has to be the Wii remote though, even if it's less comfortable (though the nunchuck is perfectly comfortable)the shortcomings of some of those controllers are these;

GC- the space for the index fingers for the shoulder triggers wasn't quite long enough to hold my fingers flat (though i do have quite long fingers) and the d-pad was a bit small for me, and i have quite thin fingers as well.

N64- life of the control stick and i suppose the irrelavance of the left hand side, but that's not much of a problem

PS- don't like the round reticule the control stick is in at all.my thumbs seem to have to stretch too far to get to the control sticks and i always seem to have to press really hard on the d-pad for anything to happen... oh and it seems by far the worst for making my hands sweaty (the GC is the best for this)

X-box was a bit too big (now i come o think of it i reckon it was the smaller one as well) is has the round control stick thing and the main coloured buttons are incredibly uncomfortable to press, had i properly owned an x-box i think i would have developed blisters.

I'm sorry, but there's parts on the Wiimote that dig into my hand, and it leaves marks. It really pisses me off, that they couldnt design them to be more... hand-friendly. Maybe I'm holding them wrong or something... But any-other way, I cant do the buttons right, so Idunno.

Uh oh... Agreeing with Kwaad... World ending... Just kidding. :D

Actually, I'm surprised that so few of us are calling out the Wiimote for its shoddy design. The controller digs into your hand after awhile, the buttons are poorly laid out, and all-around, it's not a great industrial design for a controller.

The Wii itself is a blast to play but the controller could have used a few more man-hours in the design stage, methinks.

 I'm actually quite surprised that people are complaining about the remote being uncomfortable.  I have fairly large hands and I love the feel of the remote (and nunchuck even more) and know people with small and even medium hands that love the feel of the thing.

Are you holding with a death grip or something?

i think i like the xbox360 controller togehter with the gamecube controller.

about the n64 controller is useless because it has only on stick. i think thats not true. beause when itcame out there werent 2 control sticks on a pad (as ar as i know). and for that time it played great.

it would make the same as saying, a car without steering enhanchements are useless because it doesnt have it.

it is still a car.

life isn't complicated, just face it simple.
