Didn't think it was ridiculously hard, no, but it's definitely a bit more challenging than JRPGs usually are these days. My party actually got wiped out a few times, which was nice for a change.

I think you got the MGS4 ps3 right? You should play the Shin Megami Tesei games. I can guarantee that your party will get wiped out more than a few times lol.

Yeah, got the MGS4 bundle. I only have Digital Devil Saga (never finished it, though) and Persona 3 (which, shamefully, I haven't even started yet ). Any particular SMT games you'd recommend after those? Or is the whole series pretty golden? I played the first Persona and dug it a lot.

Persona 3 (hopefully you have the FES expansion because it has more content), DDS1 and 2 are very good. After beating those, try SMT:Nocturne. Its much more difficult than the previous ones I mentioned and you're sure to get pwned by enemies just by virtue of them getting the first attack!

Persona 4 is coming in december and that one's going to be awesome as well.

nice thnx what bout persona 3 have u played it?

The only boss that game me trouble is the one right before the last boss on Disc 4. Seriously though, everything else was pretty easy...

LO isn't hard....Well I found the bit on Disc 4 hard where you have to take on 4 of those Trex things in about 5 minutes before they destroy that city.

But thats only because I didn't know you could cast "sleep" on them all so you can take all the time in the world!!!!!!!!

(not a spoiler it tells you this, it just isn't very clear).

I have found the game to be almost too easy honestly. Once you get into the groove of things there isn't that much that is hard about the game. The bosses just require a touch of strategy rather than mashing a over and over again. The worm boss was a bit ridiculous admittedly, but I have yet to encounter anything close to that again.

People who think LO is hard were obviously not born yet during the 16 and 8 bit era.

Yes. Persona 3 is the best JRPG on PS2 hands down. Ask anyone who has played it.

Interestingly enough, my Girlfriend has had very little problem playing Lost Odyssey.

She made it about halfway through the fourth disk before learning that you can skill link with immortals, and to the 2nd disc before realizing what the Rings did.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
