ioi where  does he obtain these "Others"  sales numbers from? I know his American numbers are in line with NPD. Japanese numbers are in line with Famitsu andMedia Create. Where you getting these Others numbers from?

I have been trying to research these sales numbers and I have no idea how they are derived.

While we're at it, I want to know from where NPD, Famitsu, Media Create and ChartTrack get their numbers.

He has a small sample from stores in many regions of the world, and he uses real numbers, recent and past trends to formulate his numbers.

Again, it'd be best if you asked him in a pm.

He has spent a lot of time on collating this data, and acquiring various sources/partnerships. I don't think its likely that he is likely to give up this information - and even if he would, it wouldn't be useful, i.e. :

"Contacts at HMV"

For the record, the same applies to the US/North America - he does NOT rely on NPD at all (its impossible, as the weekly sales are posted a long time before NPD releases any information).
