Is it disappointing to see the dated PS1 game, or does the GC remake change things for the worst. Which game should be purchased?

I prefer the orginal personally. The absurd matrix-bullet time crap Snake does in Twin Snakes just annoyed the hell out of me. Like the original music a little better too, and the in the remake everyone loses their accents for some reason.

Twin Snakes does have the added gameplay features MGS2 had, but since the orginal game wasn't made with them in mind, it tends to make things extremely easy, all though you don't have to use them.

You can blame the cutscenes in twin snakes on Kojima.

Originally the game duplicated MGS1 cutscenes almost exactly. But Kojima wanted to make things flashier. But its funny because you get fanboys bashing the game because they claim those cutscenes ruin Kojimas masterpiece.

Well that would explain why I didn't care for the remake, it reminded me too much of Kojima's later work in the series. =P

Twin Snakes. It looks a bit more like what Kojima was aiming with the PlayStation (even though he didn't help develop it). I guess the hardware was limited at the time...

I still like the one on PlayStation though.



Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
