anyone any idea why the hd consoles have done so piss poor this (last) week.

i think the ps3 supply issue may have leeked into europe but i really dont know, just a random guess

Speaking for Germany: there are no shortages for any console. I can go to the next retailer and buy 30 PS3 if I want to.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

maybe cause wii is increasing in popularity even more

funny you should say that as  a few workmates of mine who have been anti wii since it was first launched and pro hd have taken the plunge and bought a wii these past couple of weeks, also my bro who called the wii the "gimmick machine" and was obsessed with hd gaming bought a wii.

purely anecdotal i know and hardly a true rep of the whole of the uk but interesting nonetheless.

nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

Strange... Sony just started a new TV campagne in the Netherlands... where all the cool kids play Buzz on the psp and ps3... but that didn't had an effect at all??? I mean Buzz!! I tought thousands of people would have run to the stores for Buzz....

Don't you understand? Sony wants young people to buy their systems, not senior citizens...

Its just another, normal week really. The only real news is the 20% boost to the DS - ads for lots of DS software continue here in Australia, still think cooking guide is going to be a smash hit.

The really big, anticipated titles are here - and there isn't much else (huge) on the horizon for a few months. So expect sales to slowly decay until around October.

Xbox 360 gaining momentum in EU now too? Or is this just slight up/down adjustment from last week? Only time will tell...

Wow @ DS. PS3 and 360 doing bad. Not catastrophic bad, but bad
