You didn't have a "secondly"...

A) Left 4 Dead looks soooo good.

B) EA does not have a say...it's Valve's game.  If Valve says there's no PS3 version in production, they're the final word.  They could be lying, there might be plans...but Valve's word is final, not EA.  EA ports if Valve allows.

Right now EA has much fate in ps3 so maybe it will turn up on ps3 after all.

Since 3rd party games existed?  As long as games aren't 1st/2nd party (Halo, Mario), paid off (GTA4 DLC), or hard/expensive to port (MGS4), they typically get ported if it's worth it. 

And it sounds like there's enough PS3 gamers would would buy Left 4 Dead.

Thank you for making my argument. Not all games that are popular result in it being ported to other consoles.

but its actually a year after it was launched. I guess thats how long it takes to optimize a port to the PS3. The best part is that you can now find a copy of Bioshock for $29-$39 for the 360, but the PS3 version will go for $59.

Edit: For some reason I thought you where refering to Bioshock...  oh well

Last I checked Bioshock was coming to ps3 for 40$.... maybe am mistaken....
And I don't know what logic you guys are following but I don't see how it can be too late to enjoy a game.... if this was true then

Chrono Trigger would not be coming to DS
7th Gen Consoles would not have B/C with 6th gen consoles.

And it's a game that was first released in the 7th gen, and is being re-released but still on a 7th Gen system while the current Gen is the 7th Gen..... I seriously don't see what you mean by late/forgotten.....
