Nope...I'm hoping the game will be far superior to anything that the Wii hardware can handle. If it isn't, then I wouldn't be surprised at all cause its Capcom.
1. If Capcom reason to put MH3 on the Wii was because it would be cheaper then they would have made it for the PC as many PC owners in the US/EU (the vocal ones) want it there.
2. If Capcom had a Resident Evil Wii in the pipelines, it would have been announced already, as they announce their games fairly early or three months before launch but never before preproduction. It’s very rare that something is announced before it gets the green light.
3. Capcom intends to work with the HD Twins and to a lesser extent with the Wii as far as money investments. We might see the same amount of products though. This is the reason they recently announced their ‘multiplatform strategies.’
This all leads me back to No at least not now, maybe in a year or two after RE5 is released on the HD Twins. But honestly and this part is just my feelings on this.
I’m not a very big Capcom fan, the only games I would be compelled to root for would probably never come from them ever again. That is Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Mega Man Legends 3.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:
It might be but why would Wii fans want it.? I mean I know they would want it because it is RE5; however, we all know that graphically such a port would be doomed to be dramatically inferior to either the PS3 or 360 versions like every other multiconsole game that is on all three systems, so are Wii fans just too cheap to buy another console so that they can experience a game in its best possible form. When Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. came out on the Colecovision, I knew it was time to dump my 2600.
@baph777 I have all three consoles and would choose the Wii version just because of the superior controls. I don't care about graphics.
I've played a Wii for a few minutes at my nephew's house and at Best Buy. At my nephew's, I played Wii Play and and at Best Buy, I played Mario Kart. I really didn't find the controls on Wii Play to be that awesome. I mean to make the thing work right, I had to stand up and keep flicking my arm, and that is not the way that I enjoy playing my games. I prefer to be able to sit in a chair and relax when I play a video game not have to stand up to make the control work properly especially if the game clocks in at over twenty hours of playing time. Mario Kart Wii's graphics are grainy and don't seem to be that much of an improvement over the Gamecube, so I don't really know how much fun one can have with a system like that even though they all seem to say this is the funnest console ever with better controls than any other console that's ever existed. Heck, I prefer the Atari 2600's Joystick...except on games like Activision's Decathalon to anything I've seen out of the Wii.
@baph777 You=/= US. Seeing as you barely played any games that utilize the Wiis motion controls I don't see your point. Play RE4 wii edition then get back to us.
it should be on it, dont argue with me sony boys lol
