Do you think Resident Evil 5 will be ported to Wii?

How much more money will it cost for Capcom to port it?

I think it eventually will be ported once its completely finished and released for 360 and PS3

i think this because

1. An online petition for it now has 45,053 signatures

2. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition (a port of a 2 year old game) sold 1.45 million units

3. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles sold 1.25 million units

4. Wii is 10 million units ahead of 360 and 15 million ahead of PS3...So Resident Evil 5 can have higher possible sales for Wii...

Frankly, nope. A Resident Evil 5 spin-off is almost a given, though.

We're talking about a Capcom game .... it'll be ported to the iPhone too.

I doubt it. They might have to start from scratch to build a Wii version, and that would take too much effort. Plus, there has to be low risk of losing money.

I'd rather have an RE5 spinoff anyways.

Capcom earned a lot of money with Re4. So ... yes it will be ported. Look at the game, it is obviously a Resident Evil 4.5 - Africa Edition but with lower ambience.

Only if:

1) Dead Rising sell at least 1 million copies on the Wii
2) RE5 underperform on the HD consoles (less than 2 million combined sales)

The Wii may get a RE5 complete edition just like Code Veronica on the PS2.

All that said I want a original version, one that is more than a RE4 rip off.

No one knows fore sure but judging by the past capcom games it might I hope so fore the people that only has a Wii
