Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft almost got me to buy a new 360.

You don't need the hardrive to play 360 games. You just need an HDMI cable to take advantage of full 1080p HD. On the other hand, 98% of PS3 only does up to 720p.

I'm cosnidering buying a 360 and putting a hard drive on it next.

Probably depends how Zoids is. Spectral force looks ok... and it has a lot of non SRPGS i like... and my girlfriend is really interested in the net flix deal.

At the same time... the PSP has 3 SRPGs i really want. Wild Arms XF, Jeanne D'Arc and D&D Tactics (horrid reviews, but true to D&D combat)

Shows the 360 is doing very well when a fanboy makes these type of posts.....

I don't think he means that you can use it as a system HDD.  Just play movies/music off it, and store pictures and other media.  Not install games (after the fall update) or download XBLA games to.

Microsoft's new pricing scheme really has me tempted to buy an XBox360 as well.  But XBox Live Gold + wifi adapter keeps killing the deal for me.  Still, I think it would be worth it even just for singleplayer games (Fable 2 looks pretty interesting, badly want to play Mass Effect 1/2/3, Alan Wake, etc.).  Yea, if that $200 pricepoint for the XBox360 Arcade turns out true, I might just have to pick one up.

This is just another stealth troll. The thread belongs to the Sony forum since he's asking about ps2 and HDTV but of course the post is just an excuse to dish out some of the 360 bashing leetgeek is known for.
