yes, its very well off topic but I was just talking about how if people wanted to play the demo in Europe, they would have to buy the Ps3... for those hardcor3 gamers who want to play it so badly. I just refered to their prices of the PS3 being more expensive and last time I checked.. there were people who did compain about how expensive it was compared to the 360. Until someone interuppted me and took what I said the wrong way thinking I insulted him.

But if I was a FF fan and didn't have a PS3, I would definatlely buy the PS3 just to play the demo, even though I already own one! haha. but this was referring to 360 owners who would have to buy another console.

Why cant an American criticize America then? I'm English, i love England (the land, the physical England) but a good percentage of English people are godawful! Our politics suck and everything costs more than a small county's gdi. As for the demo, i have a PS3 so i shouldn't really be answering except you have to defend people's right to criticizes even if its a little Monty Python's life of Brian, " oh i really hate the Romans"

If one were to say, there is a special demo of Halo 4 coming soon for Xbox 360 (for those who don't own one but played it with friends)

or a new Super Smash Brothers sequel to the Wii coming out.

That's a very stupid comparison. First off, this is a game that will come to both PS3 and X360, so the Halo 4 comparison falls short there. Second, comparing a sequel to a demo has to be the height of ignorance. :x Excuse my harshness, but seriously, think things through.

oh really now? last time I checked, Final Fantasy isn't a new game series but I wouldn't consider it being a sequel of that sort either.

but I am just saying if there was a demo of a game someone really likes or dream of wanting, they would go as far as buying the system for that game because they KNOW it will come out of that system sooner or later.

And I wasn't looking at the game from a multi-plat perspective, just from the part where it is on one system and they have the demo coming out exclusively for it first. My comparison wasn't stupid, you just don't have an open mind to think about it from a wider point of view

... I don't understand your first sentence. When did I say Final Fantasy was a new game series?

If someone who really likes Final Fantasy has a 360 and hears that a demo is coming to PS3, I doubt they'd go "I better buy a PS3, otherwise I can't play the demo" when they know the full game is coming to 360, though.

... You're joking, right? You compared the demo of FF13, which is exclusive to PS3 while the game is multiplat, to a game series that is and always will be exclusive to 360 getting a demo. And on top of that, you compared a SSB sequel to a FF demo.

I have a PS3, and I won't be buying it! I already own that lackluster movie on DVD. Unless there's something simply mindblowing about that demo, I think I'm going to sit this one out.

umm dude, I meant as a demo if they had a SSB game for it. with demos in mind, not a full game to a DEMO. but I failed to be more descriptive (SSB DEMO) since I thought you knew what I was talking about.  The way you spoke, it meant I was just comparing from sequals (Halo 4 and SSB) and FFXIII is not one either? (technically not but with the same FF ingredients) I wouldn't call FFXIII in a new game genre. But i think you meant comparing a Sequal game to a demo which caused the confusion and I did not meant comparing a full game to a demo at all. Just failed to read between the lines.

Quit being so picky. Some people who are desperate and itching to play a game are willing to go that far if they have the money. Not say everyone will, but some will. Also, I never said Ps3 was exclusive to FFXIII, I said it was coming out exclusively for it FIRST on the PS3 for the DEMO.

Heck, some people are willing to buy the PS3 and import the game from Japan too once it comes out on the PS3, is that stupid too?
