this might be a spoiler to some people but its not a big one and really has nothing to do with the story:

*SPOILER*There is more than one dojo and they have different abilities.*SPOILER*

To Each Man, Responsibility

What? I finished it last week and this is the first I've ever heard of using the Z button. I never had a problem though.

The reviews are right though, drawing with the wiimote is nowhere near perfect and quite annoying. The thunderbolt was the worst. It was also way to easy to try to draw a circle and get a windgust instead.

Combat is also easy once you figure out not to shake the wiimote too often. Shake, let the attack finish, shake again. Easy.

My main complaint was the damn text. It was ok when it let you go through it quick, but every so often when it makes you sit through the annoying talking noise while it slowly prints out is painful.

At other dojo locations, there are plenty of useful things to buy (like the double jump).
My trouble with the brush disappeared as I progressed through, and the combat isn't all too bad after you understand it.
While the cutscenes are long, I wonder what they could have cut out without taking away from the emotion of the story.

Okami

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made.  I won't open my unworthy mouth.

It tells you that you can use the Z button to draw a straight line on the screen when you are drawing.

Anyway, just to discuss this on this thread, this is regarding the one section on the game that pisses everyone off. Its the konohana shuffle, and I thought Im the one who is frustrated on this.

Anyway, Im posting this if someone will criticized the Wii version because theyre frustrated on this part, I'll make an advise, do the brushing counterclockwise :P I do admit, Im frustrated myself and do it many times to make it right till I've done it. After I figured it out its easy...

Thats all I can say right now since I dont want to spoil everyone here playing the game

That's the issue some people have I guess. It's the way you draw. Not that the Wii Remote is imprecise. I watched a side by side comparison on IGN of someone drawing with the Wii Remote and someone with the analog stick on the PS2. With the Wii Remote could draw 3 or 4 times. If you goof on the Wii version you can try it again quickly.

Yeah, thats what I observe too. Its not how you make the shapes its all about the gestures. I mean, Im always made a lily pad, trees blossom, make a cherry bomb and make suns even I draw oblongish. Even its not even slightly a circle...

The other problem is that later in the game when you have a lot of similar brush stroke techniques and the game mistakens one for the other. So besides for the minor problems how do you like Okami? I finished it a couple of weeks ago and actually enjoyed it more than the Twilight Princess.

Yeah. In the new "motion sensing/IR pointer" era it isn't only a question of what to do anymore but also a question of how to do something.

What annoy me about Okami is that it repat itself. The minigames are an example of this ...

Drawing using wiimote  however give very good feeling by itself in a similar way that slaying the enemy with the Beam Katana give a new level of enjoyment to the simple structure of No More Heroes.
