The new game for Nintendo DS will utilize the stylus and touch screen to the most. The game is made by none other than Sega, and the game is called project Beauty.

"Originally, we made this game because our mascot was getting a bit ugly", says the PR manager of Project Beauty.

"We'll let the pictures talk", continues the PR manager

When you heard "Project Beauty" on DS.. what do you think of??? Awesome RPG game with tons of depth??? or quick cash-in targetting young girls who don't know any better?


There are only way too many of those games on DS already.

It wasn't announced as a DS game when the thread was posted.  And even if it was the DS already gets tons of RPGS so it could have been likely. Also it could have been a code name like soriku said.

Here's an update on the game. This might be a DSi game, since it uses a camera.

For us guys, we will call this game "Project Drag"

As if the hyper-beauty-conscious women of Japan didn’t have enough societal pressure, now computers are getting in on the practice of judging beauty. In a clever promotional tie-up with cosmetics giant Shiseido, game maker Nintendo plans to release a new piece of software in November for the Nintendo DS called Project Beauty.

After scanning your face into the software, the program uses a preset list of parameters to tell you if your face is cool, active, cute or feminine. The software will then offer make-up tips designed to improve your appearance (at least in the eyes of the marketing bigwigs at Shiseido). If this wasn’t so typically cute-in-an-odd-Japanese-way, we might have to call this software the scariest computer program most likely to lead to a world of Stepford Wives we’ve ever seen.
