I never watch an Anime before. What are they like?

There is probably more discussion there, than the whole team of writers has had for all the scripts put together.

They generally look like the typical anime art styles of JRPGs. There are good anime i.e.Death Note, Bleach, Evangelion etc. and then you have bad anime i.e. Pokemon, any anime that shows practically nothing but panty shots

to say Pokemon is the deepest anime is like saying Britney Spears is the greatest singer, or Mr Bush is the best president.

Sure, you can attempt to make a case, but don't expect a lot of agreement on it.

Too bad, since it was quite interesting.

The analysis just seems like a jazzed up attempt at the "and when I woke up it was all a dream" storyline that every 10 year old writes for a creative writing assessment in english when they can't think of an adequate ending to the story. Subsequently said kid thinks its the best ending since sliced bread.

Pokemon is a fun show, that has its moments, but citizen kane this is not.

Props to the guy for writing page after page about it though, one must admire his persistence.

If the story- writers were thinking so deep, they wouldnt have dragged it on for 10 seasons. People can find symbolism in any thing, interpret anything the way they see it, but that doesnt make it true.
As for the deepest anime , that would be The Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
