I don't really know if this requires a new thread but I love this guy and I know quite a few of you find his discussions interesting so here. He has updated his blog and talks about bringing a few more articles shortly. Enjoy:

Personally, I've found the quality of his writing has fallen since the 'Finding Nintendo's Sword' and 'Finding Nintendo's Shield' articles. I'll read it some other time, but I found the first paragraph to be 'meh'.

I agree with him entirely on the part where third parties are releasing kids games and declaring that they're successful with the "casual" audience when all they did was sell to kid core gamers(like Boom Blox on Imagine games) that have always been around.EA and Ubisoft aren't making any inroads with the new audience despite their claims.

Disney,Blizzard and Activision are the only 3 companies right now besides Nintendo who can consistently make successful games for the expanded audience.Everyone else is hit or miss with a lot more of the former happening.

The Iphone article is stupid. Instead of actually talking about the Iphones potential for some pretty decent success, he responds to only the most rabid of Apple fanboys.
