Forums - PC - How is my PC?

I'm not a big PC gamer, but am looking into getting more recent games for it, IE Call Of Duty 4, Bioshock, Mass Effect and others, and I was wondering how is my Pc? I know it cant run those games right now, but on a scale of 1 to 10 how would u rate it and what should I upgrade 1st?

Windows Vista Home Premium

Mobile AMD Sempron Processor 3500+ 1.80 ghz

Ram: 958 Mb

Nvidia GeForce Go 6150

80GB HDD

thanks for the help

The video card goes first, then RAM, then CPU, and finally, HDD (you can get a rather cheap 500 gb today)

That's a laptop. That means -5 points for me.

The processor is a very low end one, -1. The video card is quite weak, -1. It has Vista, -2.

I rate it 1 out of 10 for gaming. Laptops are not good for gaming, even the highest end ones.

I doubt you can upgrade anything besides the HDD (which is probably the best on that machine), if you really REALLY want to game on PC, you should look on building a desktop.

graphics card needs updating first.

You wont really be able to play any of those games you have listed to be honest, but i dont know how low you can make the settings for those games go.

would it be expensive to upgrade this laptop? I only paid 450$ for it, and id rather not have to pay more to upgrade then I paid for it.

as others said that is not good gaming system, get desktop pc for gaming

Wii/Mario Kart Wii Code:2793-0686-5434

I'm still not sure why people buy laptops expecting to play the latest games.

you need to upgrade.

if you want to play those games you mention.

If you don't know how to build a PC or what components to buy, I could give you a hand through here ^_^
