i cant wait to see how this all turns out, microsoft charges more royalties for games that use more discs to keep multiplatform games from embarrassing the 360, this should make for an interesting catfight

i hope the 360 one goes to pot so i can laugh at microsoft for stealing games that dont belong to them lol
... I still don't get what Square is acheiving by porting it to the 360 and making the game multi-platform.
I mean, unless they absolutely HATE Sony (but that couldn't be it really, considering the apparent PSP love and Versus still being exclusive).
And how much more profit can they gain from the 360 version, especially compared to Japan's and Europe's PS3 sales?
Or maybe I don't get it because I'm a huge Sony fanboy and I'm subconsiously trying to deny that SE betrayed me.
Sony will prevail. My 60 gig says so.
PlayStation 3 Games:
- Rock Band
Yahh it will.
One version cant be much better, if it is sales will suffer.
it will suffer and also will be delayed.
there is not way, they even haven't started to work on the xbox360 version.
The quality of GTA IV suffered on the PS3 due to it being ported to X360. Multi-platform titles adversely affects the quality of the game. Time and resources are spent on developing and producing both PS3 and X360 versions of the game. Deadlines have to be met.

Square Enix is a business. They probably don't have the irrational emotional attachment to a games company that you have, and just want to make money like any other business.

GTA IV was apparently developed on 360 first (or began on 360 first) as the console was out and devkits were available. It then came to PS3 later in its development cycle.
FF is being developed for PS3 only (according to SE) and will release in Japan first. Then (i.e. after code is locked for PS3) they will begin 360 port - and PS3 version WW localization.
So I really doubt that the 360 port is going to make any impact on PS3 version at this point - considering they've been developing on the PS3 last few years and will finish that version before starting 360 version.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
