Which ones did you play?  I only played Star Ocean 3 and maybe a small but of Star Ocean 2.  Those sales data are outdated now since that site is almost never updated.  I am planning on getting either Tales of Vesperia or Infinite Undiscovery after I beat Lost Odyssey

But those 2.8 million included the sales of the remakes of SO1 and SO2.  VP sales are alright but SO sales are really good for a JRPG, especially since 1.3 million of the 2.8 million is SO3 alone

tri-ace games are generally cult games.

not system sellers.

they are known for making great battle systems for RPGS.
