Let's take a step back and look at this logically...

Your thoughts, emotions, memories, perception, what controls all of these? That's right, your brain. When you die you have no brain activity, it shuts down. It can no longer process these things.

Imagine it like this. If you turn your computer off right now, I mean fully pull the power out and remove all batteries, will the internet still be on? will you games still run? of course not, the computer is inactive, a paperweight. This is what happens to the human brain.

Can you remember the times before your brain existed? NO, well, it will be like going back to this.
