I'm afraid an Add-On wouldn't have the same effect as a standard controller. Also the Wii also has many more casual and non gamer targetted games, and a cheaper price.

Oh and Talkingparrot I like how you call KH core.
See More Kingdom Hearts Various at IGN.com
Look at how core goofy and donald duck are. (:

Really? Tell me how you will be playing boom blox on the PS3?
to say that KH targets kids is nonsense..........the game's story is COMPLETELY linear.
So what...I played the first one when I was in the 8th grade....do I stop looking forward to any extension of the story as I get older? NO. That's like saying that since I first read Harry Potter when I was 10, I shouldn't have read anything after that because Harry Potter targets kids, and I'm an older person now.

Nobody said it targets only kids, but that is big part of the demograph. It targets almost anybody from the ages of 8-20s just like the Wii.

I think you don't understand what targeting someone means.
My aunt LOVES Tomb Raider games. That doesn't make Tomb Raider targeted towards middleaged women.
If you don't think the game is mostly targeted to kids you have to ask why all the Kingdom Hearts commercials aired almost exclusivly during kids shows and programming.

| talkingparrot said: Sigh, too many Nintendo apologists on the site. The reality is this - the spiritual succesor to Kingdom Hearts, FINAL FANTASY VERSUS XIII is a PS3 exclusive. Nomura likes the PS3, not a little, ALOT. Nomura is co-developing two Kingdom Hearts title, one on PSP, and on the DS, and both look amazing. It is NOT far fetched to see that Kingdom Hearts will stay either exclusive to PS3, 360/PS3, or be Wii / PS2. I don't understand the Nintendo fantacism for wanting Sony to fail on here. |
Too many Sony apologists on this site using the same old No More Heroes fallacious arguments under the highly unlikely assumption that all SE titles just have to be on PS3 just because.
PS3 exclusivity is unlikely. PS360 is more likely, but still no where in the realm of KH3 being on the Wii. You can throw a fit about Zack & Wiki and Boom Blox and Far Cry vengeance (ROFFLE!!1) all you want, it's not really going to change anything.

Uggghhh....
Fine. I guess I will stick around to arguing.
Oh hey BMaker! I remember us fighting about this in my "Where Will Kingdom Hearts III Go?" thread.
Okay:
The demograph of the Kingdom Hearts series is very complicated. Many people see it as a core game for its Action and Storyline, while others see it is casual because it incorporates Disney characters. The simple truth is that it's not what the game is about, but rather how it is marketed. The casual demograph is much larger than the core demograph so Disney decides to market towards casual. Soriku's videos have shown that there are no FF characters in the video, because they are portrayed as mean and serious. They show Disney characters, which are fun and quirky. Kids will buy it thinking that it is going to be a really fun game that shows their childhood idols. They are not going to read about it online, or go onto G4, or buy magazines about it. They want it for the Disney in the game.

Sorry buddy, but this one is going to be PS3 exclusive. Sony owns 10% of Square Enix. Behind the scenes, IIRC Nomura was very adamnt on it staying PS3 exclusive. There's even an IGN article where he said Vs. XIII was made with PS3 specific technologies.
But this is all fine and dandy, your just wishful thinking. The likeliest of scenarios is, Nintendo gets a Kingdom Hearts Spin Off for the Wii, and the PS3 gets Kingdom Hearts III mainline. However, you won't admit to this, since well, you believe PS3 sales will stay in the gutter and you never plan on buying one. This is why fanboyism is FTL.
