Killzone is probaby technically better, but Gears just looks prettier to me.
What I'm actually seeing on screen in Gears is far more visually appealing than that in KZ.

I watched the E3 video of the Leviathan battle. The trailer for Resistance looks good too. There were just textures and backgrounds that looked pretty "meh" to me. I know it's a work in progress, though. When I saw Gears in HD running on my TV (I downloaded Resistance footage from the PS Store too), I was just more impressed. My opinion.

 I cant belive people saying killzone 2. Gears 2 is far superior in the graphics department, it is pretty obvious from the comparasion pictures.

Im been serious. from the pictures above, gears win, easy, but in the vids, looks almost the same.

Ya, that subjective crap that has everyone spouting about which console they like the best, because it effects their subjective opinion of games running on different systems.

I think that picture that SHMUPGurus posted of Gears of War 2 is a bullshot. Way too much anti-aliasing going on in that picture.

But I do agree with him that Gears of War 2 seems to have better textures. But Killzone 2 has some very nice post processing. Really a toss-up of which one looks better.

I am saying exaclty like you because, as you can see, no everybody think like you and they can think the same about your opinion. You cant tell them just say "i cant belive people saying" just like we were blind.

Gears 2 looks better. KZ2 is still good though. But Far Cry 2 beats both.

Killzone 2 definitely looks better than Gears of War 2, but the difference is relatively marginal.
