Yu Yu Hakusho and Flame of Recca are probably better comparisons but I'm sure more people are aware of DBZ.

The most amusing thing to ever come out of Naruto was an AMV of its hand gestures set to "The Macarena."

I fail to see how any of these animes are similar. But to answer your question on why people like them, it's because they are good animes. Do you even watch all of Bleach and Naruto? Cuz bleach has like 20%-25% fillers, and the rest is plot. Naruto is at least done with fillers for awhile anyways. Besides, Bleach and Naruto are long lasting animes with the same plot throughout anyways, unlike DBZ.


I agree, you do fail. That fact that you can describe Bleach but can't even spell the main villain of Inuyasha's name correctly shows the validity of your comparison.

If you think Bleach and Naruto are good, then more power to you. I'm not going to tell you that what you like is inferior drivel compared to many anime or that it is long and over blown.

What I am going to tell you is to at least watch the shows you are comparing before making a comparison. You will indeed look less foolish.


Ok then what makes them similar?  The characters are totally different, including plot, theme, setting, quotes, the way things are drawn, the drawing style.  Sorry for watching Inuyasha and DBZ and know what i'm talking about.  Ninjitsu =/= SSJ

Btw since when did spelling ever effect knowledge of something?  Does spelling something wrong make you an idiot and not know anything about the show? No.  So what if i spelled Moraku's name wrong?  zomg eye phail at liphe!

I also really liked Spirited Away.

I have seen many others but cannot remember them all and they didnt have the effect on me as these.

Bah ssj12, was it really necessary? It's not like one extra thread is going to ruin the boards. =P

Anyways, anyone here seen Now and Then, Here and There before? It's a short anime but it's really great. Really emotional stuff.

Anyone likes Hellsing? I love it
The old anime that was never much tied to the manga, was still a favorite to me. Then i got introduced to to the manga ( I bought vol 1-8, waiting for 9) then to the OVA, amazing! FAN, my name says it all.

Full Metal Alchemist
epic storyline, for an anime that completely broke away from the manga, i saw all episodes (1-51) read (and bought) manga 1-15 (Father is EPIC) waiting for the OVA.

Deathnote, i only read and finished the manga (computer illegal lol) and am afraid to watch the anime, the way the manga ended is wicked, but i will see it!!

I have watched other Animes like Naruto, but couldn't stand the over excessive fillers ( saw the first hundred ). Bleach was a nice one, but i got tired of watchin it on youtube ( saw to 57 ). The rest couldn't see because i barely had cable most of my life. I will finish, in a nice DVD set, on a 70 inch HDTV lol.

PS HELLSING = macabre, gore, and bloody awesomeness!!
