They look more like CGI than ingame FMV's.

if these pics are from cutscenes using the in-game Wii engine, then that certainly could be the case considering they are using a modified version of the RE4 engine.
for the time being i'm going to believe that these are created by the Wii engine. that is until someone can actually prove they arent.
either way though i dont really care. the gameplay shots so far arent looking too pretty. but then again many of the decent looking Wii games never had good screenshots. and if the game is fun to play, the only reason i'll complain about graphics is if it looks like the early RE titles.

I am relatively certain some of those scenes were done in-game. All the scenes involving Frank always keep whatever clothing you have equipped at the time. Given I am not anything close to an authority on the subject, but I think the only way to achieve that effect is to have it done in-game rather than do it movie style. |
All were in-game

Think Resident Evil 4 ps2 edit, they are using the cutscenes from the xbox360, Frank will have the default appearence in cutscenes, those are not ingame,
I HAVE A DOUBLE DRAGON CAB IN MY KITCHEN!!!!!!
NOW A PUNISHER CAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's all in game, people. Capcom just user Normal Maps on the characters which show far more details than a standard texture map does.
The rEVOLution is not being televised
hahaha, lol, this thread is so funny.
1. those pics look great, and they are definitely sharper and more detailed than RE4.
2. those pics are from Wii hardware and whatever engine Capcom is using on Wii.
3. those pics are definitely cutscene and not actual gameplay.
#3 doesn't mean Wii's version will suck or look like cruisin'. Wii has a dvd player and quality video card. It can put out high quality cutscenes. The gameplay will probably look really good as well. As good as the 360? Probably not, but as good as the best Wii games so far, sure.
I, for one, am looking forward to this game.
