I'm going to fucking kill someone if Omikron 2 doesn't come out on PC!!!! Omikron/Nomad Soul was one of the best games I ever played, and far better than Indigo Prophecy.

I doubt it will be PS3 exclusive. Only timed exclusive at best, just like Heavy Rain.

actually osny has paid for the whole development of the title,,so I think it's safe to assume that it will not end up on PC for atleast some time.

No, Sony is only taking care of the publishing.

that's not what I ve been reading,,,the paid for the development and they will be publishing it ,,,just like a second party title.

I have not seen anything about them paying the development. The game itself was being developed on PC and Xbox 360 before Sony got the publishing rights and made the developers sush about PC/360.

@ZenfoldorVGI

Well Omikron was certainly a masterpiece, but Indigo Prophecy wasn't... at about halfway the game seemed like it would be the best adventure game since Grim Fandango, but then everything turned to crap and made you swim in diarrhoea and feel like you wasted all that time you've played Indigo Prophecy.

You know what, imo, all other PS3 exclusives are kinda meh, but any game by Quantic Dream, is imo, a masterpiece and it hurts my soul that my brother has now probably permanantly borrowed my PS3, and I'll never have the heart to take it back from him....I'll just make him buy this, lol.

PS3 fanboys, listen up. THIS is the game you should be touting. Quantic Dream is the company you should throw in 360 fanboys faces.

These are real games here. Not over-rated hype-a-thons. These games are probably gonna get rated in the upper and middle 80s. However, I'd bet anyone who plays them will be blown away. Kinda like the MGS series.

Quantic Dream is awesome. Period. No God of War arguers here. No Killzone detractors. Everyone who has played their games should know that they are a very excellent and underappreciated developer who develops exclusively for the PS3.

These people to you should be like Capcom was to you during the PS1 era.

I bow to these superior developers, being PS3 exclusive. Nice job Sony. You win a point.

Are they really that good thought Heavy rain was their first game.

I don't think this game is being made, there is no information in there and no articles, except for 1 that is dated July 3, 2007 that explains how Quantic Dream is making a new PS3 exclusive game - Obviously before they were fully aware of Heavy Rain.

This doesn't sound like a guy who's itching to bring his game to the PC:

(from gamasutra)

In terms of reaching more people, you're releasing this game only on the PS3, and the audience for that is necessarily limited, because only a certain number of people have it. Do you feel that consoles are a limitation for you? I don't know how many adults who want this kind of experience have a PS3.

DC: Honestly, working on one platform is the best thing we could dream of, and it's a choice. When we signed this game, we had a choice between different publishers, some of them being only one platform and others being all. After the experience we had with Fahrenheit, where the multiplatform was kind of painful on all levels, it makes the development more complex, but you also end up with the feeling that you've taken the best of none. You had to do something on three platforms, and you couldn't really affect the time and efforts to one platform to make it the best game on this platform, because you've got three platforms to pick.

I think regarding especially the PC, the PC is generally a frustration for me, both as a developer and as a player. As a player, when I buy a game, it's quite expensive. I come back home, but the CD in, and you've got to install it. Fine - it starts to be the same with consoles these days. And then you realize that you're missing a driver. It doesn't work. It doesn't play the video, or it crashes, or it doesn't have the right version of DirectX, or it's not compatible with your video card or whatever. Whew! Well, I bought this thing, and it's supposed to work.

I don't want to fight with my computer just to make this bloody thing work. And then you need to go on the Internet, download the drivers, and you know what? The framerate is not what it's supposed to be, or you don't have the level of detail in the graphics because you don't have the right video card or you don't have the right controller because the developer wanted you to play this game with a certain controller, and you only have a keyboard and a mouse, or whatever. And in the end, the experience is not what the developer wanted, and it's not satisfying for you as a user.

And as a developer, I'm frustrated, because when I design an experience, I have framerates in mind, certain graphic rendering in mind, a certain controller in mind, and I'm frustrated if people can't play it. On Fahrenheit, the game was designed for the PlayStation 2 controller. It works okay on Xbox, but honestly, I don't think it works with a keyboard and a mouse on PC. It's really difficult and challenging to find a game that can work with any device.

On PlayStation 3 now, there's no problem. It's pretty clear. You know what the control is, you know the rendering, you know what framerates you get, and you know everything, because this is exactly what you designed. You say it's a limited audience - yeah, it's true at the moment, but by the end of the PlayStation 2, I think there are 120 million units in the world, so I don't call that a limited market. There's no reason why the PlayStation 3 can't reach these numbers.

omgggggggggggggggggg, if sony announce team ico project before the end of the year gt5... release date before the end of the year they won my heart

@Shio [salt]

This game is not only being published by SONY, SONY has made them a full "2nd party". Funded the game and bought a brand new studio for Quantic Dream to work in too. Basically, it is a SONY game only, but oneday in the distant future, I would assume it will come out on PC too, but don't hold your breath. It's simple really, just get yourself a PS3.

SONY was very smart to get this studio in bed. their games are like Team ICO's, special. Won't sell millions, but will give the PS3 a big boost in cred. This is why SONY keeps pushing artistic games, to create a more mature, respected audience. I mean, just play Pixel Junk Eden and u will know what I mean.

Quantic Dreams games are a must buy for me on day 1!

Playing and finishing games first>>>>>>>>>>Then talking!

Opinions are subjective and just like moods, can change.

TOP 12: Deus Ex, Shadow Man, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturn, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Metroid Prime, Zelda (series), Uncharted (series), FF Tactics, Persona (series), Demons Souls, Vagrant Story.

MOST WANTED: Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Last Guardian, ICO/Shadow OTC HD

You guys just pretty much got me exited for this game. It wasn't even on my radar.

They made a little game called Indigo Prophecy and it OWNS all of God's creatures. You just don't hear it touted much outside of hardcore gaming circles.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
