Eh?? What's all the ruckus here?

PSH no. The man said it himself. Sorry Squill. I buy all my multiplat shooter / FPS games on the 360. This time however, PS3 has the clear advantage. He will not compromise the quality. You shouldn't be too concerned, don't you own a PS3?

FYI - I added more to the statement 2 posts down.
Tease.
If people can't see this happening much more often in the future, then they are blind! BD's are the future and most studios within the next year or so will be needing them heaps more.
One thing is for sure, the PS3 is positioned very well.
Playing and finishing games first>>>>>>>>>>Then talking!

blu-ray increases as neccesity and usefullness as months go by wheras DVD seems to outlived any usefullness it once had , Blu-Ray is indeed the future (and is very much the present).
Well, its id, so it has potential. Hopefully they learned from the mistakes of Doom 3, which wasn't a bad game by any means. Quake 4 could have been better too, but still a good game.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

We have always had more than 1 disc for some games since Ps1. Disc changing is no big deal.
On the future front disc of any type, be it Blu ray or any other is extremely old tech now. Sd cards, Flash drives and the like are all limitless in space and are far more durable. Also there is way less load times as transfer rates are far better.
I would hope disc is not for the next generation as 30 gb Sd cards could easily be used in 3 years, or even small flash drives. This is hopefully where gaming will go.
I know Toshiba are looking at putting SD cards to the film industry for Hd films instead of Dics, as you could put it straight into the side of your HDTV(no need for a player) and watch the film that way. You would have smaller boxes to and unlimited space.
Don't know looks pretty cool but Motorstorm2 looks better. Just cannot get excited about the game.

Flash cards may be used in the near future for gaming because of their low seek times, but I don't think they will be used for movies (which don't need low seek time) because they are far more expensive than discs and will be for a long time. For example. It currently costs less than $0.10 to make and press a DVD. There is no way that a 4 GB flash card will be that cheap within the next decade. None.
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it
