Forums - General - Weird TV Problem.

So my TV has been acting funny for some time now and i was wondering if you guys know what the problem is.

Here's a pic.

Also, there's another problem that just appeared today. I bought Soul Calibur 4, played for an hour or so and now i can slightly see the health gauges even when i'm watching TV.

Does anyone know what's this? Or if it's covered in the warranty?

Thanks

I would say its defective and if you still have a warranty you should return it and get a new one.

oh..and regarding the health bars...its a plasma right? cause i am under the impression that static images will burn into plasma screens

LCD. The weird thing is that i've played MGS4, Lost Odyssey, GTA, Tekken for like 10 hours straight with no such problems and one hour of Soul Calibur ruined it. xD

I don't know if it would effect LCDs, but if you leave auxiliary speakers on too close to a turned off CRT tv, it can temporarily mess up a lot of things such as tint.

Burn in is what bubbles is describing and pretty much no new TV, especially Samsung should get that. Also tv's are magnetically shielded to ensure speakers and such don't harm them.

I still think you just have a defective unit. No matter what you buy, it can happen. Samsung is generally really good. So, i would just take it back and get a new Samsung replacement.

Oh ok, thanks. I will do so.

How old is your TV?

Fanboy response: It's because you are playing PS3.
