Forums - Sony - LittleBigPlanet: Make Good Stuff, Get More Space

You trolls never give up do you. You can still upload whatever you want, and share it with friends, its not like they will say 1level and that's it. This is to stop people from uploading retarded levels with cocks all over the place or flooding the place with 100 shitty 2secs levels or just a level with some blocks in it, or making a level that has you stuck in a box or some other retarded shit.

Well I'd like to think of it this way, I think Sony's going to give you the same amount of space that was originally available to begin with. You'll still be able to make huge levels :P This just benefits the people who spend more time and probably want more space. Granted, the first person to make a halo or mario level is guaranteed extra space :P

I like this actually. I'm gonna make some awesome levels and have them bless me >: )

That's honestly, a misguided and fanboy way to look at it if you ask me.

Other games aren't limtied in this way so to look at it if there was some "baseline" is just off.

The baseline for this kind of thing is infinite upload space.

You could probably fill your PS3's memory with thousands opon thousands of LBP levels unless they are using something horribly inefficient.

But what other CONSOLE game offers the same sort of player created content?

I think we should all keep our panties on until we find out exactly what the limit is.  Depending on what the limit is, I could see this being a nice feature.  It would help stop potential spammers.  I mean, I can already imagine what the level listing will look like sorted by name if there were no limit (and even with the limit, I'm sure something like this will still happen):

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PENIS
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PENIS 2
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PENIS 3
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PENIS 4
etc.

I'm interested to see how Media Molecule handle all the uploaded levels.  Maybe have a featured level of the week/day?  How would you search for levels?  Will levels have associated key words to help when searching for levels?

To my knowledge Blastworks on the wii allows infinite user uploaded content... and yes you make full stages.

It's basically a shooter analog of LBP.  Though i believe it lacks triggers.  Haven't really gotten into the editor.  It does lack the PSeye functunality too obviously... which is an ok end around from the main advantage of these games on PC.  It's easy to bring in outside sprites and drawings and make them animated things.  Though... the PS Eye isn't really allowing animation, just stiff pictures.

I wonder how much you will be able to edit how things look.

As for waiting for the limit... if the limit wasn't limiting there would be no reason to set it... or set a sliding scale so people get more room.

LOL no surprise vg got its panties in a twist.

yahh LBP being polluted by crap would be better, low even for this place.

I guess LBP will be the next Neopets.. with merchandise in years to come like trading cards.

Pixel Art can be fun.

sacboy will be the end of mario, i predict 50% of wii users will jump into the ps3 dimension

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

server space is cheap these days??? Youtube servers cost a million a day to upkeep, it's one of the worlds top 5 biggests websites and it is still unable to post a profit -due to its crippling server costs.
