Lol that is really funny. I say the most it could sell is half of that. It has too much competition and the Japanese userbase isn't too big.
Edit: Their review average seems pretty accurate though.
It will do well (for a 360 JRPG) in Japan and probably not so well elsewhere.

I downloaded the demo and it is pretty good... Not exceptional...
Max 100,000 first week... 300,000 lifetime...
Last time i checked Namco bandai themselves are only expecting 500k lifetime. Still, it may be due to the pretty awesome looking new box art.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
Yeah that's way too high, I'd say 750K lifetime worldwide if I were being extremely optimistic.
i think it will do around 600k lifetime sales, hoping it will be alot more.

I would use Eternal Sonata as the metric for this games success. I would say Eternal Sonata is somewhere just north of three hundred thousand units sold worldwide by this point, and given the fact that I have not seen that title on display in a good long time. I suspect that Tales will probably only see a limited production run. I suspect the title may sell four hundred thousand.
Japan 120,000
North America 250,000
Others 30,000
I also suspect the title will have longer legs, but make shorter strides. Given that other Role Playing games are releasing in the same time frame. Too Human, Infinite Undiscovery, Last Remnant, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Sacred 2, and Rise of the Argonauts. This means the title will probably be seeing some steady traction next spring as players exhaust the holiday selection. However in the near term it will not bode well for the title. Especially since the other titles are far more mature. Which will make them peak sooner in North America.
1.8m is way to high. Probably 575k tops.
Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. " thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."
I wonder how many 360 owners are looking forward to JRPGs nowadays...
Hopefully the number has increased, it also helps there are a bunch coming out for this half.
